2. Documents and photos
Selected photos and PDFs are processed on the device for PaperAid's included tools. PaperAid does not configure a document-upload backend or analytics service for the current app. The automatic background remover uses its bundled on-device model. Manual background cleanup edits the generated cutout locally and does not need to replace the original selected photo.
3. Release and business configuration
PaperAid may request small public HTTPS JSON files containing app-version information and remotely controlled product or feature availability. These requests do not include document or photo contents. If these endpoints are unavailable, the app can continue using its compiled or cached configuration.
4. Android rewarded advertising
Rewarded advertising is disabled in the initial free configuration. If enabled in the future, PaperAid is designed to use Google Mobile Ads for an explicit rewarded action such as “Watch ad · use once.” Before requesting ads, PaperAid uses Google's User Messaging Platform consent handling where required. Document and photo bytes are not sent to the advertising service for this purpose.
5. Purchases and Pro access
If PaperAid Pro is enabled later, Android purchases are handled through Google Play and Windows Pro licensing through Microsoft Store. PaperAid receives store purchase or license state needed to unlock features. The current dormant scaffold is store-driven/local; a future server-side purchase-verification service would require this policy to be updated before use.
6. PaperAid website
This website may use the shared baisalya.com monetization runtime. The PaperAid home page contains one restrained advertising placement that stays hidden unless advertising is deliberately enabled and the shared consent/configuration gate is ready. Manual, download, support and privacy pages are designed without ad placements. Third-party links such as app stores, GitHub or Buy Me a Coffee are governed by their own policies.
7. Local preferences
PaperAid stores small settings on the device, such as theme choice, favorite or recent tools, update suppression, successful-save count, rating-prompt timing, cached public business configuration and local Pro/license state. These values do not contain the contents of documents or photos.
8. File access
PaperAid uses user-driven file pickers and save dialogs. It does not request broad access to all personal files merely to run its tools. Android camera access is used when you choose camera-based document capture.
9. Retention and deletion
Files you choose to save remain wherever you saved them until you delete them. Local PaperAid preferences remain on the device until app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled, subject to platform behavior. Remote public configuration files contain product metadata rather than your document contents.
10. Children
PaperAid is a general document utility and is not designed as a service for collecting children's personal information. Users remain responsible for the documents and photos they choose to process or share.
11. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when PaperAid adds new services, store integrations or data flows. Material changes should be reflected here before the related feature is enabled for production users.
