Simple terms for a personal productivity tool.
These terms describe the intended use of Friction Atlas and its digital products. They are a practical product baseline, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice.
1. Acceptance
By installing, accessing or using Friction Atlas, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product.
2. Product purpose
Friction Atlas is a personal habit, behavior-reflection and focus tool. It helps users log habit outcomes, record friction, test countermeasures and view local pattern/correlation summaries.
It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or emergency advice and is not a substitute for qualified professional services.
3. Optional device permissions
Some Android features require optional system access, including Usage Access, Accessibility Service, notification permission and Display over other apps. These features should only be enabled if you understand the in-app disclosure and want the related functionality. You can disable optional access through the app and/or operating system settings.
4. Estimates and interpretation
Short-form Reels/Shorts counts, app-open/session counts and correlation outputs are analytical estimates derived from available device events. They may be incomplete or affected by operating-system restrictions and third-party app interface changes.
5. Purchases, Pro and robot products
Eligible digital products may be sold through the platform store as one-time non-consumable purchases. Pro Lifetime and paid robot skins are separate products unless the store listing explicitly says otherwise. Atlas Mini is intended to remain the default free bot.
Actual prices, taxes, payment processing, refund eligibility and purchase records are controlled by the relevant app store. Restore availability depends on the store and product configuration.
6. License and acceptable use
You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive right to use Friction Atlas subject to these Terms and platform rules. You may not misuse the app to bypass operating-system protections, interfere with third-party services, redistribute paid assets as standalone products, or use the software unlawfully.
7. Your data and backups
You are responsible for maintaining copies of important exported backups. Local data can be lost through device failure, uninstall, storage clearing, operating-system changes or user action. The developer does not guarantee recovery of local-only data.
8. Availability and limitation
The app and website are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Features that depend on Android, Windows, app-store billing, accessibility events or third-party app structures may change or stop working when those platforms change.
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from reliance on estimates, missed reminders, local data loss, third-party service changes or device/platform restrictions.
9. Changes
Features, prices, bot catalog, supported platforms and these Terms may change. Material policy changes should be reflected by updating the effective date and relevant app-store disclosures.
10. Contact
Support and developer information are published through baisalya.com. Add the final support email before public store submission if required by the distribution platform.
